Kincaid Lake Recreation Area campground is very attractive. The sites are extremely large and covered by southern yellow pines and a wide variety of other hardwoods. Then to top it off the thick ground cover provides very private sites, though some are more private than others, most of them are very private. Unfortunately very few of the sites have a few of the lake. The best time to visit is probably in the spring and fall as the summers are very hot in southern Louisiana.

Lake Kincaid is a man made lake stocked with sun perch, bass, and catfish. The fishing is exceptional.
