If you are looking for a campground to stake your tent right on Kentucky Lake, this may be the place. Birdsong Resort and Campground is located 9 miles north of I40 at exit 133, between Jackson and Nashville, Tennessee with the closest town being Camden, Tennessee.

Birdsong Resort and Campground has everything you can imagine for a fishing trip with your buddies or a vacation for your family.

Camp Sites

The tent area is a large grassy area set up right on the waters edge. There is community water and electric available for all tent campers. There is also a bath house available with hot showers.

If you bring your family with you there is lots to do while your out on the lake fishing. There is a swimming pool available as well as a children's playground, a basketball area, volleyball sandpit, horseshoes, ping pong, shuffleboard and much more.

Open campfires are permitted at Birdsong Resort as well; as are pets as long as they are on a leash.

The Marina

There is also a marina with a boat launch right on site, so if you don't want to you will never have to leave the premises while you are there.

The marina also provides the Ship Store which has boat rentals, in case you don't want the hassle of towing yours, as well as gas. The store also provides fresh snacks and fresh sandwiches and all the beverages, including beer, that you may need. Of course, they also have bait and tackle.

The resort itself has 14 rental cottages ranging in size from an efficiency to group lodges. All units are furnished and air conditioned with TV's which includes a VCR or DVD Player; or possibly both.

These cottages also have screened porches or decks; while some of them even come with Jacuzzi Tubs and private phones.
